Hyperrealism and Hairstroke Brows

Eyebrow Micropigmentation
The hyperrealism brow technique, is the newest technique in permanent makeup brow design, benefitting by contributions of master artists around the world. This PMU procedure has many monikers and style offshoots such as Feather, Nano, Angel, and Dragon to name a few. The hairstroke brow style offers straighter, more defined lines more akin to microblading. The high risk of uneven color, harsh blocky shape, and scarring inherent to microblading—cutting the skin literally by blade—along with trends toward a more natural, yet fluffy/full and delicately manicured brow, is elevating the diversity and safety of machine-stroke styles in popularity above older blade techniques.
Hyperrealism and Hairstroke Brow techniques are also ideal for recreating nonexistent brows, as in the case of alopecia, or addressing brow-loss due to trauma/scarring, as well as in filling in thinning brows naturally. The machine strokes and ultra-thin micro-needles allow for superior ability to create the natural diversity of a hair’s thickness/fineness throughout the brow arc, and inherent to the natural eyebrow growth pattern. Utilizing multiple color volumes of ink, along with modifying pigment density with dilution furthers this important realism effect. With these more personalized brow creation techniques, the client has more control over the final outcome, with feminine and masculine shape styles, and opting for a more delicate feathered look, or more a manicured dramatic brow that still maintains a natural look.
